Q: How do I register for workshops?
A: You can register for IPA workshops in a couple of different ways.

Q: Am I registered for a workshop?
A: You will receive an e-mail from IPA confirming your registration.

Q: What are the workshop times?
A:
Face-to-Face Workshop:
Registration/Coffee & Rolls 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Workshop 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Lunch Provided)
Online Workshop:
Check In 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Workshop 9:00a.m. - 12 p.m.
Q: What are the workshop/conference fees?
A:
1-Day Workshop Fees:
Member Rate $175.00
Non-Member Rate $250.00
Retired Member Rate $80
Any district or school that is in Federal or State improvement status (SSOS-Statewide System of Support and RESPRO schools) may send up to 5 people per building per SSOS funded workshop free of charge.
Q: What is the Workshop Cancellation and Change Fee Policy?
A: Conference & Workshop Cancellation/Substitution Policy
(All cancellations and substitutions must be done in writing)
Workshops:
Substitutions for workshops may be made at any time with notice to the IPA, provided that such substitution is during the same fiscal year.
Reservations may be cancelled more than five days prior to a workshop with a full refund. Alternatively, the registrant may have the full amount of the workshop applied to another workshop within the same fiscal year
Cancellations within five business days of the workshop date will be assessed a $50.00 service charge.
Individuals who do not cancel their reservation and are not in attendance are responsible for full payment.
The IPA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops at any time. In the event of cancellation or rescheduling, members may either request a full refund or have the registration fee applied to another IPA conference, workshop or event.
Conferences & Other Events:
Substitutions for conferences (such as the Principals Professional Conference and the Assistant Principals Conference) and other like events are not allowed.
Reservations may be cancelled more than ten working days before any conference or event with a full refund, less a $25.00 service charge.
Cancellations within ten business days will be assessed a $50.00 service charge.

Q: What is the workshop credit?

Administrator Academy
Each administrator is required to take one Administrators Academy per year.
The Illinois Principals Association will record the Administrators Academy with ISBE within 60 days of the workshop date.

CPU Credit
Each workshop clock hour is equal to 1 CPU.
Example:
8:00 - 8:30 Registration
8:30 - 11:30 Workshop = 3 CPUs
11:30 - 12:30 Lunch
12:30 - 3:30 Workshop = 3 CPUs
Total: 6 CPUs
Please retain two forms to identify that you attended the workshop. Examples: IPA Administrator Academy Certificate of Attendance, Agenda
CPDU Credit (Teachers Only)

Total: 6 CPDUs
An Evidence of Completion for Workshop, Conference, Seminar, Etc. Form #77-21B will be given at the end of the workshop.
